How to Connect Your ASIC to Gokby Pool: A Step-by-Step Guide

You have your miner. You have power. You have internet. Now you need to join the swarm.
Connecting to Gokby Pool is easy and requires no registration. Here is exactly how to do it.

Step 1: Find Your Miner's IP Address

  1. Connect your ASIC to your router via Ethernet cable.
  2. Turn it on and wait 2-3 minutes for it to boot.
  3. Use a tool like "IP Reporter" (for Antminer) or look at your Router's admin page to find the IP address of the device (e.g., 192.168.1.50).

Step 2: Login to the Dashboard

  1. Open your web browser (Chrome/Firefox).
  2. Type the IP address into the URL bar.
  3. Login.
    • Antminer Default: root / root
    • Whatsminer Default: admin / admin

Step 3: Configure the Stratum Server

Go to the "Miner Configuration" or "Pool Settings" tab. You will see slots for Pool 1, Pool 2, and Pool 3.
Fill them out as follows:

Pool 1 (Primary):

  • URL: stratum+tcp://btc.gokby.com:3333
  • Worker: YourBitcoinAddress.WorkerName
    • Example: bc1qxy2kgdygjrsqtzq2n0yrf2493p83kkfjhx0wlh.Antminer01
  • Password: x (or 123, it doesn't matter)

Pool 2 (Failover):

  • It is good practice to set the same URL again, or a backup port if available.

Step 4: Save and Reboot

Click "Save & Apply". The miner might restart its mining software. This takes about 60 seconds.

Step 5: Verify Connection

  1. Wait 5-10 minutes.
  2. Go to the gokby.com homepage.
  3. Click on the "Wallet" or "Search" icon.
  4. Paste your Bitcoin Address.
  5. You should see your hashrate appearing on the graph!

Troubleshooting:

  • Hashrate is 0? Check if your wallet address is correct.
  • Miner status is "Dead"? Check your firewall settings; port 3333 must be open.

Welcome to the family! Happy Hashing!
